Background

After an initial talk with Go Bigger, I found that they had a real need to discover who their company is and a establish a clear vision, mission, goals and strategy.

With this we discussed the potential need for a re-brand to help better communicate their company’s services and new educational venture.

Go Bigger as a name, was initially chosen as a combination of “Go Big” and “GER” as a nod to the companies’ location in Germany. They have since decided to go for an international market. They re-branded once before. After the re-brand, the name and tagline still didn’t install clarity in what they offered.

As a company Go Bigger advertised themselves as “Specialised in IT”, with a large range of services, projects, ideas and employee skills. During our initial discussions we found that this was too broad a description and range of services, therefore it would be of use to find their specialism and a clear target audience.

Discovery

After initial discussions with Go Bigger, we scheduled a series of workshops that helped them to discover their core, target audience, vision, mission, values, promise and personality.

Implementation

Now that Go Bigger had a clear idea of where they are going, why and who they wanted to work with, we were able to move onto a series of implementation workshops. These workshops helped to find a plan and solutions for how they could better communicate with their team and target audience for more successful results.

We looked at resources, strategy, set SMART* Objectives and set up a plan ready to be managed and put into action!

Personality

Along side the implementation workshops, I started to work on the new Go Bigger visual identity.

Starting with mood-boards, I was able to gauge a direction from the team on what resonated with them and what they think would work with their target audience and help them to stand out against their competition.

From here, I was able to refine the inspiration and start on the sketching stage of the design process.

Final Concept

Once I had developed a first draft of the logo and identity concept, I presented the team with the concept, mock up examples and a reminder of how we had reached this point.

After the presentation, the team was able to give feedback, a final revised concept was presented and signed off by the team.

With the final sign off, the deliverables were created and handed over to the Go Bigger team, ready to implement with their new business strategy and implementation plan.

Next Steps…

From the implementation and business strategy developed, I knew the priorities were to get the logos and elements cleaned up to create their digital concepts and guides for their social media channels and eLearning courses.

As the new year and new brand journey are about to begin, I also created designs for team wear that employees would be proud to wear.
